Low-profile LED panel luminaire for general indoor lighting

FL-UMBRA S is a surface-mounted LED panel luminaire designed for general lighting in offices, educational facilities, retail spaces and other indoor environments. The product family includes five housing sizes and several wattage options, allowing the lighting to be adapted to spaces of different sizes. The low-profile housing, measuring just 47 mm in height, enables discreet ceiling installation. The easily separable two-part housing simplifies installation and provides convenient access to the LED driver and electrical connections. The luminaires are suitable for both new-build and renovation projects.

FL-UMBRA S luminaires feature DPRZ-LT80 microprismatic optics as standard (UGR ≤ 19), helping to reduce discomfort glare. This makes them particularly suitable for general lighting in offices, classrooms and other working environments. Alternatively, the luminaires are available with MPRZ-LT92 high-transmittance microprismatic optics (UGR ≤ 22), providing approximately 15% higher luminous flux compared to the standard optics.

Applications and suitability

FL-UMBRA S luminaires are suitable for lighting offices, meeting rooms, classrooms, retail spaces, corridors, storage areas and other general-purpose indoor spaces. The narrow 6020, 12020 and 15020 housing models are well suited for corridors and linear arrangements in working environments, while the wider 6030 and 6060 models provide options for general lighting in larger spaces. The luminaires are designed for typical indoor mounting heights and are not recommended for particularly high-ceilinged spaces where directional lighting from elevated mounting positions is required.

The luminaires can be mounted directly onto the ceiling using screws through the mounting holes in the housing, or suspended using separately available suspension wire kits. The two-part housing provides easy access for mechanical mounting and electrical connections. With an IP44 ingress protection rating, the luminaires are suitable for typical indoor environments but are not intended for use in extremely humid or dusty conditions. The permitted ambient temperature range is 0 to +35 °C.

Accessories and compatibility

The FL-MTG KIT-SUSY suspension wire kit (order code 10021357) is available separately for suspended installation of FL-UMBRA S luminaires. Two Y-type suspension wire kits are required for each luminaire. The suspension height is adjustable up to 1.5 metres.

Optional features available at an additional cost include DALI lighting control, Tunable White colour temperature adjustment from 2700 to 6500 K, and an automatic corridor lighting function. These options are available for all housing sizes within the product family and can be combined to meet the requirements of different applications.
