Finlight EX-FLF series linear ATEX luminaires are an excellent choice for demanding environments and hazardous areas with explosion risks. The luminaires in the series are suitable for use in hazardous areas classified as Zone 1 (gas) and Zone 21 (dust).

The robust construction of the EX-FLF luminaires, along with their IP66 and IK10 ratings and non-sparking materials, makes them an excellent choice for industrial applications such as chemical production and processing facilities, mining industry sites, and marine environments. The luminaires feature a symmetrical design and dual cable entries at both ends, enabling flexible wiring from either end of the luminaire and the daisy-chaining of multiple luminaires. As standard, the luminaires are equipped with an impact-resistant clear polycarbonate housing and can alternatively be supplied with an opal, light-diffusing polycarbonate housing.

The luminaires come as standard with pole mounting brackets made of stainless steel, allowing convenient installation on lighting poles and crossarms. FL-FLF-SuspensionKit accessories for suspended installation and FL-FLF-SurfaceMount brackets for surface mounting are available separately as optional accessories. An EM emergency lighting package with 1.5-hour battery backup is also available as an optional accessory for the luminaires – please contact our customer service for more information regarding EM equipment options.

The luminaire series has undergone prototype testing and technical assessment in accordance with internationally recognized IEC standards applicable to explosion-protected equipment and industrial lighting systems intended for operation in hazardous locations.

Prototype testing and conformity assessment were performed against the following standards:
IEC 60079-0, IEC 60079-1, IEC 60079-7, IEC 60079-18, IEC 60079-31, IEC 60598, IEC 60598-1, IEC 60598-2-1, IEC 60598-2-5, IEC 60598-2-22, IEC 62031, IEC TR 62778, IEC 62471, IEC 61347-1, IEC 61347-2-7, IEC 61347-2-13, IEC 60335-1 and IEC 62493.

Compliance was verified through prototype testing and associated ExTR test reports as part of a third-party certification assessment program for explosion-protected luminaires intended for use in classified hazardous areas.
