LUPA – modern LED outdoor luminaire for street and outdoor area lighting

LUPA is a modern LED outdoor luminaire designed by our partner company Elektro Lumen for professional use, particularly suitable for lighting streets, cycle paths, pedestrian areas, squares, parks and other outdoor areas. The luminaire's minimalist design fits well into modern urban environments. A very comprehensive range of power, optics and colour temperatures enables LUPA to be used versatilely in various outdoor lighting solutions.

LUPA can be installed on top of a pole, on the side of a pole or on a wall. The luminaire is suitable for installation on a pole or luminaire arm with a diameter of 48–89 mm, and its recommended installation height is up to 8 metres with the highest power options. The luminaire features a durable die-cast aluminium housing, which is powder-coated with a matt finish in RAL 7015. The luminaire housing can also be painted in other RAL colours – if you are interested in customising the colour of the luminaire, please contact our customer service.

Efficient and versatile outdoor lighting

LUPA uses high-quality, energy-efficient LED technology, enabling a long service life and low operating costs. In addition to the basic optics options selected for the online store, the luminaire is available with several different optical solutions that allow it to be optimised for lighting streets and roads, squares and parking areas, as well as other outdoor areas. BACK light glare shields are also available for the luminaire, helping to control light distribution and unwanted stray light when the luminaire is installed close to buildings. The luminaire is available with several colour temperatures: 2 200 K, 2 700 K, 3 000 K, 4 000 K and 5 000 K, as well as an AMBER option. In the AMBER solution, the proportion of blue light is minimised either by means of the LED module or a special AMBER optic.

Durable construction for demanding outdoor conditions

LUPA is designed for year-round outdoor use. The luminaire's IP66 enclosure rating protects against dust and water, while IK09 impact resistance improves mechanical durability. The operating temperature range is −40…+55 °C, making the luminaire suitable for Finland's varying weather conditions as well.

The manufacturer's stated service life for LUPA is over 120,000 hours (L90). The luminaire can also be equipped with Constant Lumen Output (CLO), which helps maintain consistent luminous flux throughout the luminaire's service life.

Controllability and smart outdoor lighting capabilities

LUPA can be equipped with DALI control and night-time dimming. The product family also offers capabilities for wireless lighting control via NEMA and Zhaga interfaces. Options include interfaces compliant with the Zhaga and NEMA standards or a combination of the two, allowing the luminaire to be integrated into modern control and smart city systems.
